Do you control variables (where appropriate)?
Are procedures repeated?

Reporting data: tables/charts & descriptions
Is the data is summarized in a table/chart that is easy to read and understand in a glance?
Do you summarize your data--clearly and briefly? Please avoid repeating the same information that is in the table.

Conclusion - your interpretations of the results
Do you interpret results?
Is the interpretation/analysis based on the data?
Do you discuss how the study might continue--next studies, what you're still curious about, what questions this raises, etc.?

Application to the K-12 Classroom
Briefly discuss this experiment from a teacher's perspective. Imagine yourself teaching a course in which your students were doing a similar experiment. Assume you gave your students the question to investigate, and materials, but figuring out the rest of the experiment was up to them.
What background knowledge and abilities would be required for students to be successfull? What special management considerations would this kind of project entail on your part? What do you think students would ultimately learn?

The report must by typed (double spaced, 12 pt. type, 1 inch margins) and approximately four pages in length.
