Turnitin
Turnitin is the world's most
widely recognized and trusted resource for helping prevent Internet
plagiarism. Since 1996, they have been helping educators and students
ensure the Internet remains an asset rather than a detriment to
learning. CSULB has obtained a license to use the software in order
to help deter plagiarism in the university.
Attendance of a workshop, or personal
assistance during Inspired InSite's Office Hours, are mandatory
before getting access to this service using CSULB's account. Please
register for a workshop or contact Inspired InSite at inspired@csulb.edu
to schedule a one on one tutorial.
Turnitin has contracted
with the law firm Foley & Lardner
to insure that their use of student work complies with copyright
law and other requirements, such as COPPA and FERPA. To see
all of their legal documents, defenses and explanations use the
link found below in the "Helpful Links" section.
