Software
and Database Licenses
ACS supports campus software and database needs by participating
in CSU system-wide licenses as well as by negotiating our own
campus licenses. These agreements support the objectives of the
CSULB Strategic Planning Mid-Range Goals 2002-2005 by advancing
Planning Area VI, Information Technology. These products provide
the tools that support a foundation for excellence in teaching
and learning, and promote efficient personal productivity of the
faculty, staff, and students.
Specifically,
Mid-Range Goals 1 and 2 are as follows:
-
Support faculty involvement in high quality instruction enhanced
by technology.
-
Develop collaborative campus-wide efforts to promote the efficient
use of technology support resources for academic and administrative
uses.
