My interest is in the neurobiology of learning and memory

My research is on Adult Neurogenesis in the Hippocampus of Zebra Finches, a species of songbird.

          I am investigating:

• Where are the cells born?
• Do the cells migrate?
• What is the time course of migration?
• How far do the cells migrate?

I teach a human physiology laboratory course (Biology 207)
