Student Safety Training
|
A new student to the lab will be considered fully trained
after going through all the following three steps: 1- Taking CNSM Safety Training Seminar and oral quiz with the Safety Office (Phone: 562-985-5623; E-mails: Kristin Hunter: khunter@csulb.edu; Jeff Mellon: scisfty@csulb.edu). 2- Reading (a) Field Trip guide, (b) West Nile Virus guide, and (c) Avian Influenza guide and taking an oral quiz with Esteban during office hours (Phone: 562-985-7597. E-mail: efernand@csulb.edu). 3- Taking Animal Care Seminar by Tracy Dollan and an online quiz. To schedule the seminar please contact Tracy (Phone: 562-985-5483; E-mail: tdolan@csulb.edu) Please, try to complete all these within the first two weeks of the semester to avoid delays with the start of your research project. |
