Loan Entrance Counseling
First time Stafford borrowers at CSULB must participate in entrance loan counseling before we process your loan application and disburse funds. As part of our on-going efforts to provide better service, we are pleased to make on-line entrance counseling available through EDFUND. Please contact the Financial Aid Office if you need further assistance.
Steps for Completing Online Loan Counseling:
You will go through a sequence of screens that covers the entrance counseling, and answer a series of questions as you proceed through this material. Don't worry, this is an "open-book" quiz.

Begin the "EDTE$T" by choosing California as your state under "STUDENT ACCESS."

Click on "GET SCHOOLS."

Select "CSU Long Beach" as your school and indicate your enrollment level ("Undergraduate" or "Graduate").

Click on Continue.

Click on "ENTRANCE EXAM" as your game piece.

Enter required data and follow the instructions given on the following pages.

The information will be sent to us once you successfully complete the test.
