Young Scholars Program
As a high school junior or senior, you can be considered for enrollment in certain special programs at CSULB if you are recommended by your principal as well as the appropriate CSULB department chair. In addition, your preparation for college must be equivalent to that required of an eligible California high school graduate.
As a Young Scholar you will have the opportunity to:

explore subjects not offered at the high school level.

take courses related to your intended major.

earn advanced credit toward your University degree.

experience the University's academic and student life.
Admission to CSULB as a Young Scholar is only for certain programs and does not constitute the right to continued enrollment at CSULB.
