Discover the world history, culture, and migration of people of African descent with a focus on communities in the Caribbean, Brazil, India, United Kingdom, and France. This database includes primary source documents, personal papers, journals, newsletters, and court documents.

Colonial America: 1606 - 1822

Sourced from The National Archives UK, Colonial America offers access to thousands of documents on North America from 1606-1822. This database contains all 1,450 volumes of the Colonial Office files held at The National Archives in London pertaining to the early-modern Atlantic world.

Early European Books

As the definitive resource in its category, Early European Books allows full color high resolution digital access to thousands of pre-1701 books and rare incunabula printed in Europe. Our subscription allows access to materials from: Det Kongelige Bibliotek, Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale di Firenze,  Bibliothèque nationale de France, Wellcome Library (London), and the Koninklijke Bibliotheek.
