Advising FAQs
Frequently asked questions regarding the University Honors requirements and advising can be located on this page.
- Successfully complete at least 1 Honors course every 2 consecutive semesters
- Maintain at least a 3.0 GPA (cumulative, Honors)
- Maintain good standing in University Honors
- Inform Honors staff in a timely manner if you do not intend to use your permits for Honors courses
You are placed on Honors Probation if your Cumulative and/or Honors GPA(s) falls below a 3.0. You will have one semester to raise your GPA(s) to a 3.0 and you cannot take advantage of priority registration during your probation. You will also be required to complete the following:
- Academic Success Workshop
- Resource Contract
- Mid-semester Check-in
