Farm to Student: Produce on the Plaza brings Long Beach farmer's market produce to CSULB students and provides a platform for healthy resources, public health services, and student empowerment.

CSULB students are invited to stop by for FREE fresh farmer’s market produce, on the plaza, while supplies last. Rotating experts share healthy lifestyle tips.  Demonstrations and other produce-based activities, exchanges, and resources, offered on a rotating basis. 

Farm to Student: Produce on the Plaza is presented by the University Art Museum in collaboration with Food Forward, and HFHM370/Hospitality Management.

Is Farm to Student: Produce on the Plaza a part of the ASI Farmers Market?
Not technically, but it has been included as a highlighted event series in association with campus-wide initiatives to alleviate challenges of food insecurity.  Farm to Student offers a platform to educate and promote wide-ranging services of CSULB's CalFresh Outreach Program, which connects students to the CSULB Basic Needs Program
