Recover your password instructions

When you go to the next page, you will be asked to login to TIM to recover and reset your password. If at any time you have questions, click on one of the thumbnail images at the top of the next page.

Step 1.

Type in your Campus ID in the User ID field and click the "Forgot your password?" link. If you have never created a password through TIM, you will need to activate your account instead of recovering your password.

Step 2.

Answer the challenge questions and click the Submit button. If you do not type the answer correctly, proceed to Step 5 to contact the CSULB Technology Help Desk.

Step 3.

Type in a new password, confirm the password by retyping it, and click the Submit button. Your password must have 6-9 characters including at least one number and one letter.

Click OK to the popup box saying "The password change request has been submitted successfully."

Step 4.

Click the Logout button in the upper right corner and then CLOSE YOUR BROWSER WINDOW AND RETURN TO YOUR PREVIOUS LOGON SCREEN.

Step 5.

Login using your 9 digit Campus ID number and the NEW password you just established.
