We apologize but Teamwork registration is now closed. Please contact SLD (562) 985-4181 for upcoming Leadership events.
Since 1982, Teamwork has been the cornerstone of leadership development programs at CSULB. Taking place in the beautiful mountains of Angeles Oaks at YMCA Camp Arbolado, Teamwork is a leadership experience aimed at building community among student leaders at CSULB and empowering those who participate to become agents of change in our communities.
This weekend retreat is designed and implemented by staff from the Office of Student Life and Development and a committee of experienced faculty, staff and students from The Beach. The goal of Teamwork 2008 is to explore civic engagement and to develop these skills in a leadership context. By the end of the weekend, we expect students to recognize the importance of civic engagement and to implement these skills in their leadership roles. With an array of small group and large group activities, and an outdoor teambuilding experiential, the students’ full participation is needed to make the weekend a success.
