APPLIED STATISTICS FUND
We have had a very strong graduate program in Applied Statistics since it started in 2003.
In fact, we already have more graduate students in the MS Applied Statistics program than any other graduate program in the entire College of Natural Science and Mathematics (not just the department)!
In addition, most of the graduated statistics students are working in very good industrial jobs.
In order to keep CSULB's Applied Statistics group moving forward to keep up with modern statistical advances and to continue graduating high quality statistics students and getting them great jobs, we really need your help! We are just starting a statistical consulting center for the campus and community at large that will benefit greatly from money given to the Applied Statistics Fund. The Fund will also help give awards to students majoring in statistics, give travel money to statistics students, provide research opportunities for students, help get internships for them, as well as help get the statistical consulting center and statistics facultyget the latest statistical software.
