Paulino Lim, Jr., professor emeritus of English, had a short story “Mother Lily and the Mail-Order Groom” accepted for the anthology “Aura: The Gay Theme in Philippine Fiction in English,” published by Anvil in 2012. He also wrote the introductory essay in “Magnificat: Mama Mary’s Pilgrim Sites,” also published by Anvil in 2012.
Gerald Locklin, professor emeritus of English, had his poems “The Iceberg Theory” (August) and “Nassau” (September) published by Silver Birch Press in 2012. The Mas Tequila Review published three of his poems, inspired by his visit to the “Women and Surrealism” exhibit at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, in issue #5.
Richard E. Porter, professor emeritus of communication studies, had the eighth edition of his book “Communication between Cultures” published by Wadsworth Cengage Learning in February 2012. He is currently working on the 14th edition of his anthology “Intercultural Communication: A Reader,” which was first published by Wadsworth in 1972.
Clifton Snider, professor emeritus of English, had his 10th book of poems “Moonman: New and Selected Poems” published by World Parade Books in 2012.
