I would like to invite you to the upcoming WASC Gourmet Coffee Break that will be held on Friday, February 27, 2009, in the University Student Union Ballroom from 10am to 12pm. An array of light breakfast foods and beverages will be served. Presentations will be provided by Academic Senate Chair Praveen Soni, Professor David Hood, and Vice Provost Cecile Lindsay. Staff Council Chair Barbara Sinclair will moderate the program.
This event provides you the opportunity to become better informed about the accreditation activities underway here at CSU Long Beach. This update is very timely as our campus will host the WASC visiting team on March 4th through 6th and it is important that everyone be as knowledgeable as possible about our accreditation efforts.
Please check with your supervisor to assure that your attendance will not disrupt the operations of your unit. And to assure that there are appropriate preparations, please RSVP by February 24, 2009 using the link above.
