The WASC Steering Committee at California State University, Long Beach, commissioned a survey of the campus community to develop themes for the upcoming proposal to WASC. This report describes students' responses to the two open-ended questions on the survey. The first question asked students to suggest other strategies in addition to those already listed. The second question asked students how CSULB could evaluate its progress on improving student success. Information on the methodology is contained in the accompanying report comparing student responses to those of administrators, staff, and faculty.
