Tenured/Tenure-Track Faculty Responses

Theme 2: Staffing for Effectiveness (Spring 2006 Campus WASC Survey)

T/TT faculty also listed adequate salary as their highest priority issue among those choices available under Theme 2.  Managing workload was also rated as a high priority by 36% of T/TT faculty.  Supporting scholarly and creative activities, attracting faculty and staff to the CSULB campus, rewarding good performance, and retaining faculty were endorsed by between 20% and 30% of T/TT faculty.  Supporting instruction was also rated as a priority by 19% of T/TT faculty.

The remaining strategies were not given any priority by three-quarters of the T/TT faculty.
