Administrators ranked adequate salary as the highest priority under Theme 2. The next four themes were given high priority by 20%-30% of administrators, including rewarding good performance, attracting faculty and staff to CSULB, retaining faculty and staff, and managing employee workloads (Table 2-1).
The remaining strategies were not highly ranked by administrators, and were not recognized as a priority by a majority of administrators.
