The purpose of the Educational Effectiveness Review is to demonstrate to WASC that CSULB fulfills its core commitment to Educational Effectiveness. CSULB must demonstrate that it has clear and appropriate educational objectives at both the University and program levels, and that it employs processes of review to ensure that instruction is provided and that students reach levels of performance that are appropriate to the degree being awarded.
In its review, CSULB will again focus on the three core commitments first outlined in the Capacity and Preparatory Review, this time reporting on the results of research into the extent to which CSULB is:
