This commitment will consider the changes that have occurred in decision making and communication processes on major issues such as enrollment growth and technology as a result of administrative and Academic Senate organizational changes and how these changes have impacted the effectiveness of our decision making.
This commitment will consider how CSULB is addressing challenges with respect to recruiting, retaining, and supporting a highly qualified and diverse faculty and staff, particularly as they relate to workload, salary, and opportunities for advancement, and employee satisfaction.
This commitment will consider CSULB's current pattern of retention and graduation rates by department, college and student subgroups and institutional practices to respond to this pattern, as well as how CSULB has addressed common barriers to graduation, with particular emphasis on high failure rate courses, the Graduation Writing Assessment Requirement, and advising.
