Research:

Adhoc routing protocols.

Routing protocols were simulated under different mobility model to see their performances.

Manhattan Mobility Model.

Packet End to End Delay is Maximum for DSR initially but gets lesser with time. The delay is  minimum for TORA.

Wireless LAN Delay is Maximum for DSR and minimum for TORA But after the routes are discovered the delay in DSR reduces.

Packet Delay Variation is Maximum for TORA and Least for AODV.

Throughput is Maximum for TORA Minimum for DSR. AODV has less troughput initially but it increases and  reaches the level of TORA.

TORA is best routing protocol for Manhattan mobility model.

Free Way mobility Model

Packet End to End Delay is Maximum for DSR and Minimum for  TORA. Unlike

Manhattan the delay in DSR do not decrease.

Packet Delay variation is most in TORA and least in AODV

Throughput is maximum for AODV and least for DSR.

AODV is the best for freeway mobility model.  As on free nodes are moving fast in a particular direction or the topology is not changing that rapidly as in Manhattan model hence TORA is less efficient then AODV.

Random Walk

Packet End to End Delay is Maximum for TORA and Least for AODV.

Packet Delay variation is maximum in TORA and least in AODV.

TORA and AODV perform almost similar but DSR causes more delays.
