We not only offer our searchable online bibliography Refworks, but link to newsletters, conferences, and current field research. In this sense, the project has a life of its own; your suggestions keep the boundaries fluid and responsive to newest scholarship.

The 2010 SOLCHA MEETING was held in La Paz Baja California Sur, Mexico, from June 15 to 18. Amazing place, fantastic work.. Now it is time to prepare for the next SOLCHA meeting, in Colombia 2012. It will take place in Villa de Leyva, Colombia, June 6-8, 2012.

Historia Ambiental Latinoamericana y Caribeña (HALAC)
It's the new journal on Latin American and Caribbean Environmental History, edited by Regina Horta, with suport of SOLCHA. The first issue will be out by mid-2011, and articles in Spanish, English and Portuguese are welcome.
