East Asia Subcommittee of International Education Committee

Mission Statement:
The East Asia Subcommittee of the CSULB International Education Committee (IEC) aims to contribute to international understanding at CSULB by promoting interest in East Asia, and by exploring and developing educational collaboration with East Asian partners. It supports the work of the IEC, which fosters the internationalization of curriculum and research and encourages international experiences among faculty and students.

Charge:

To organize East Asian related activities at CSULB and promote consciousness of East Asia
To establish, sustain and expand linkages between CSULB and its East Asian partners
To explore other opportunities for students to study and work and for faculty to teach and research in East Asia
To coordinate various subgroups within the East Asia Subcommittee
