Students. Students in the Applied Anthropology Program come from a variety of national, cultural, and professional backgrounds. Many are working professionals; others come from undergraduate programs throughout the United States and around the world. Master's students in the Applied Anthropology Program have won a significant share of University-wide awards. Students find topics that blend their interests with the regional, national, and international interests of full-time and associated faculty. Outside the University, Long Beach supports a lively coffee house, café and club culture shaped by students at CSULB. Student extracurricular interests often include attending regional multicultural events, work, family, friends, and the beach. The links on the right will tell you more about student research projects and theses. |
