Sponsorship Opportunities
Be a part of the UAM's future by participating in one of the numerous opportunities that exist at all levels. The University Art Museum's programs and exhibitions are supported by thousands of visitors, members, and patrons each year. Their support enables our exhibitions, educations programs, events, and community outreach programs possible. Individuals like you provide the majority of funding for the UAM – we need you!
Exhibition Sponsorship
UAM exhibitions offers individuals and corporations outstanding philanthropic opportunities. Consider supporting one entire exhibition that features work you love or a series of projects. The Constance W. Glenn Fund for Exhibition and Education Programs Established in honor of UAM Founding Director Connie Glenn, this fund provides discretionary monies for the UAM director to use in support of the core UAM programs. In order to both provide immediate funds as well as long-term income, 75% of each contribution is dedicated towards ongoing programs while 25% of the gift is deposited into an endowment account. Although the endowment is not used for expenditures, the income derived from its investment provides additional program support
Art and Technology: The UAM is embarking on a new initiative. Through a series of projects that combine visual arts with music, popular culture, technology, and science, we are examining works that cross boundaries of genre and media. The first series in this program is called Project Lab and will include three innovative projects. Project Lab reveals unique works using sound, computer technology, artificial intelligence, opera, and film. Donations to this program will help support catalogues, brochures, installation and equipment costs, and artist honoraria. As a museum of contemporary art, we are dedicated to providing our audiences with examples of the most compelling and innovative artwork occurring in the field today.
We are deeply grateful for our friends who support the UAM in so many ways. Without you, we cannot serve the students of CSULB and our community, and provide high quality programs that have an impact on our region and the field of visual arts. We must raise all of our program funds through grants, earned income, and your generosity. We want to thank you in as many ways as we can. Depending on the level of support, sponsorship benefits include:
- Acknowledgement on the UAM Donor Plaque in the museum lobby
- Recognition on exhibition and/or program materials including press releaes, web page, catalogues, and advertisments
