From the Vault: Recent Acquisitions from the UAM Works on Paper
June 17- July 20, 2003The UAM highlights recent acquisitions to the permanent collection and included photography, prints, drawings, and mixed media works by artists such as Robert Adams, John Baldessari, Susan Crile, Russell Crotty, Jim Dine, Vernon Fischer, Robert Rauschenberg, Julius Shulman and the Starn Twins.
“Through significant donations and annual purchases, the UAM's ever-growing collection of works on paper is intended to establish a major visual arts resource for the region while building its holdings of work by emerging and established artists of the 20th and 21st centuries,” according to Curator of Collections, Anna-Marie Sanchez who curated this exhibition.
