The Special Events Committee is a committee of the California State University, Long Beach Staff Council. The committee's mission is to incorporate three yearly events that bring the staff of California State University, Long Beach together to build and maintain staff morale.
The Special Events Committee is responsible for planning and executing the following annual events:
The committee also assists with the Cherishing the Children Toy Drive in November and Cherishing Children Party in December.
If you are interested in joining this fun and rewarding committee or you simply want to learn more about the Special Events Committee please contact Lupe Swartz - Lupe.Swartz@csulb.edu.Staff Members may join from any area on campus. You do not have to be a member of Staff Council to join the Special Events Committee; however, the Special Events Committee Chair must be a Staff Council Representative.
Meetings are held when planning and preparing for events, not year round.
Dates, Times, and Locations are yet to be determined.
We are always looking for new ideas when planning events.
