CLUB SPORTS AND RECREATION: SURF TEAM/CLUB

Membership Information

All CSULB students are able to join the CSULB Surf Team/Club.

-The CSULB Surf Team/Club is designed for both surfers and non-surfers alike. The only requirement is an interest in surfing. 

-Membership cost for the year is $100. The year covers current Fall and Spring semesters only. Membership fees go to administrative, equipment, and benefit expenses.

All members will receive:

- A Surf Team/Club sweatshirt and T-shirt

- Unlimited surfboard access (appointment and deposit required)

- Free surf lessons

- Invitations to all parties and events (beach days)

- Notice of team try-outs and practice sessions

- On-campus meetings

- Raffle entries

-Team try-outs will be held once in Fall semester. Each team consists of 6 male surfers, 2 female surfers, and 1 longboarder following the NSSA format.  Number of teams chosen will be determined by Surf Team administration.
