CSULB Model UN students participated in study abroad courses incorporating MUN simulations in Almaty, Kazakhstan in 2009 and 2010. In partnership with the Kazakhstan Institute for Economics, Management and Strategic Research (KIMEP), CSULB Model UN students have the opportunity to experience and study politics and cultures along the Silk Road again in July 2012.
