AGENDA:
Tabling:
Students are needed to table for the Progressives on a variety of issues, including the rec center, increasing membership, and the November special election. Chris and I will be near the Multicultural Center on Tuesday and Thursday.
Special Elections:
The run-off for District 48 is coming up, if anyone happens to live there. Things are not looking good when someone like Jim Gilchrist beats the Democratic candidate. The turn-out for the primary election was low, so there is still some hope for Orange County.
For the November Special election, we encourage students to distribute information and talk with students in the class and at our tables. So far I have a few flyers for the propositions for the November special election.
Recreation Center:
Make sure you take the survey and keep an eye out for any sign of fraud.
By Tuesday we should have some updated flyers for the Rec Center in our office.
Other topics discussed:
ASI Womens' Focus Group
Victoria's Secret/Forrest Ethics
