MINUTES::: Campus Progressive Meeting - Notes 10 March 2004, Elisa Meeting followed the Student Organization Coalition, which had representatives from Circle K, History Students Assoc., La Raza, Muslim Students Assoc., United Methodist Campus Ministries, and individual (non-associated) students. March 20th: Protest in LA. Carpool arrangements discussed. Consider public transportation. Everyone going seemed to have a group they were already going with, but if anyone needs a ride, “Jaime has a van.” March 18th: Iraq: One Year Later. Announce to friends, professors, classes. Zahra sent a flyer out to the list- print and post as much as you can. We finally got clearance, so everything is set. March 20th: Film Screening: Uncovered: The Whole Truth About the Iraq War. Elisa passed around a flyer design that we all agreed upon. She’ll post it to the list. PRC & Event Planning has confirmed event. So that’s that! In the spirit of our campus-wide student coalition, Jaime suggested having a region-wide university coalition, with representatives from Southern California campuses banding together. He’s working on contacts from other schools to see what the atmosphere is out there. :::
