SHUT DOWN - Thursday MAY 6
Jaime obtained an approved PRC for a teach-in to be held at the Friendship Walk from 12-4. I'll be handling equipment through A/V. Due to restrictions on amplification, the speakers will begin at 1:00pm. Blanca and Alejandro are in contact with the CFA president regarding official endorsement and faculty support. With one objection, we voted to invite the ASI president and president-elect to speak for 5 minutes. Possibility of having voter registration during the event. If you know any professors that will speak, contact Zahra with their preferred speaking times.

Contacting Organizations: Alejandro, Lupita, Sonia, Connie.
General Advertising: Amanda, Lamya, Jaime, Neil.

After the Save the CSU issues, we discussed consensus building (Jeb gave us some homework to read as if we don't have enough already) and the facilitation process. It was also suggested that when we have upcoming large events, we will focus on the event, but briefly (two minutes or so) mention ideas for future activities before charging into the pressing matters. Those who want to discuss new business afterward can stick around if they desire.
Last issue: Zahra is booking a room for next semester's meetings.
