Wed. 4/21 Meeting Notes
5pm at Multicultural Ctr

-In attendance: Amanda, Elisa H., Jaime A., Neil R., Zahra B., Michael M., Lupita, & Alejandro & company from La Raza

-Facilitator- I have no idea since I was only able to attend the last 20 minutes.

-ANNOUNCEMENTS/ AGENDA:

-Please come out to support the
CSU system-wide rally against the Budget Cuts
this Monday, April 26, 2004
at the Governator's office in Los Angeles.
Buses will be leaving campus around 9:30am
(Meet at Brotman Hall), regardless if you were able to make a reservation.
500+ people signed up to go from CSULB! ALL WELCOME! Free event.
Lunch will be provided.
Buses will be back at CSULB by 2:30pm

ALSO: Save the Date:
Thurs. May 6, 2004
12 noon
CSULB campus-wide WALK-OUT
to protest the budget cuts

(Undergrad tuition fees will be Increased 10% and Graduate fees by 40%)

-Spread the word!
-Members in attendance also hoped to use the 4/26 event to network and tell other campuses about the 5/6 plans.
