We had a good crowd at tonight's meeting, here are the notes--

1. We have 2 stacks of flyers in the office now, one is a general flyer
 for posting (it has our meeting times) and the other is a fold-out
 pamphlet with lots of information in it. Pleas etake some and distribute
 or post them. You can make more cpies too if needed, bring your own
 paper to the Maxson Center (3rd floor of the USU) and you can make free
 copies. (club related copies only).

2. The wesite is going to be overhauled. Andrew and Carl are heading up
 this task but everyone should help them by submitting things you want
 to go on the site. Email Andy at Awf19@hotmail.com and Carl at
 cglover@csulb.edu . Also, Ed is working on a political discussion board
 site that we will ultimately link to our site, where students can
 discuss topics interactively on the web.

3. The Anti-War concert and conference is scheduled for April 10, the
 concert will be in the Nugget and the conference location is TBA. If
 you know of a band or speaker please contact them and see if the date
 is OK for them then bring your suggestions to next meeting. We will make
 a final schedule later on. Also we need to write a proposal for the
 reservation of the Nugget. Someone please volunteer to do that soon,
 email Ralph for details.

4. Ed Ober has a Radio show on KBeach at 11am-12pm Wednesdays about
 political topics. Jeb and I are going to be discussing the war this
 wednesday so LISTEN in the USU or at www.kbeach.org and CALL IN during
 the show with qustions and comments 562-985-2272. Also we would like to
 support the efforts to get KBeach played in other areas of the school
 and ultimately get them a broadcast signal. Ed is ou connection to that
 campaign and maybe Ralph? He has a radio show "the people's radio show"
 on MONDAYS at 7pm. LISTEN!

5. La Raza is doing a campaign to boycott Taco Bell due to their
 exploitation of labor (specifically their tomato pickers) This has been
 an ongoing national campaign and CSULB is joining in. Please pick up a
 flyer about this in the office. There will be a teach-in about the
 issues surrounding Taco Bell on Feb. 11.

6. Buy a reusable mug! They are being sold at a table by the bookstore
 tomorrow and after that they will be sold in the convenience stores.
 They are $3.50 each and they get you a 10% discount on all beverages on
 campus (even beer!) so pick one up!

7. Uduak is working on an anti-war resolution to be passed by the school,
 saying we do not support the war.

8. There will be a court hearing for Danny Vivian and Shahrokh Sheik,
 members of ASI, who have failed to appoint parliamentarians for the past
 2 years. This hearing will hold them accountable to their duties, so go
 show your support for an accountable ASI on Monday at 12:45pm in USU 305
 (The Manhattan Rm).

9. The Peter Carr Peace Center is holding a meeting on Tuesday at 5pm in
 the Multicultural center. Please go help them organize peace events on
 campus.

Our next meeting is next Wednesday at 5pm in USU 309. Hope to see you
