Campus Progressive Notes

-we came to consensus to support Mary Gligiarov's "This Thursday".

-anti-war coalition meetings every fri @ 2pm in Multicultural Ctr to plan
 for Dec 5 rally. Go to this meeting!!!  represent the Campus Progresive
 (CP)!

-Taco Bell Boycott Coaltiion w/ La Raza- the taco bell committee meets
 every tues @ 530pm in La RAZA office (F04-264) behind PH1-151 and FA-4.

-Peter Car Peace Ctr. revival meeting Thurs and Nov 14... 5pm in
 Multicultural Ctr.

- Some members are interested in forming a "Progressive Christian group".
.This group would be pro-choice,pro-gay,anti-war,etc.. We had alot of
 discussion about this.  It would be good to have a leftist christian
 group on campus to appeal to religious people and to counter the
 viscous claws of right wing fundementalism on our campus.  For more info

-Dec 26, 2000-January 3rd - a caravan is going to the chiapas to help
 with building projects.  Meeting in mexico city on January 3rd.  plane
 ticket from LAX to mexico city is aprox 460$.. 80$ from Mexico to
