Here are the Wed. 11/6 CAMPUS PROGRESSIVES Meeting Notes
There was like 9 or 10 people at the meeting today!!! ha-ha

1)Come to MEXICO SOLIDARITY EVENT tomorrow!
Nov.7, 12-2pm USU SW Terrace
anyone who can come early to help set up should.
brign Campus Progressives flyers, or just hand out our old handbills...
  anything! :-)
Bring money, buy crafts!

2) After this event, there might be an anti-war small discussion going on
. stay if you can.

3)We still need to look for retro-honorarium for the Mexico event. Any
 suggestions or connections would be appreciated. I am contacting the
 Chicano STudies, women's studies and anthro departments...

3)We voted today to work in coalition with La Raza for the "Boot the
 Bell" Campaign, to try to get Taco Bell off our campus. Representatives
 from the coalition of Immokalee Workers spoke for 20 minutes at the
 meeting today. (It was an impormptu appearance; I pulle! d them over
 from the La Raza meeting).

4) We are tabling for Int'l education week on Nov.20, 10 or 11-2pm....on
 sw terrace....

5) anyone from CP who can go to Iraq anti-war coaltiion meetings should!
 we all agreed to be apart of this coalition.
 Still held every Fri. 2pm in Multicultural center. big demo rally
 dec.5....

6) We love our faculty members, but anyone sending lots of mail thru this
 listserve should maybe consolidate their notes and send them out once.
 (this was a suggestion I got after the meeting)...
