November 1st coalition notes

Flyers

  Flyers have been made.  Usama will take the flyer to SLD to see about getting it stamped for posting.  By wed. hopefully they will be ready to post.

  Perhaps we can use the Campus Progressives mailbox in SLD as a point to pick up/drop off flyers so everyone can have access to them.

Peter Carr Peace Center, co sponser

  Peter Carr was a former peace activist and professor at CSULB.  This group is planning to reorganize.  Their first meeting will be Thursday Nov. 14 5pm in the Karl Anatol center in Library East. 

Event Planning

  By this thursday either the Young Socialist Alliance or the Campus Progressives will start filling out the paper work in SLD to work the planning and details out with the school.

All those who proposed the speakers should contact them asap for their availability.

Jeff contacted the national lawyers guild and is awaiting a response.  The ACLU and Poly high school, and LB community college still need to be contacted by those with connections to those groups.
