We will continue to meet at this
time..Oh also I forgot to mention at the meeting but the LB greens have shown
interest in setting up a table on campus with us. I think we should network
with all the left groups to help get our message out and increase our
numbers...okay here's the notes-->

Agenda
Meetings/flyers/email list
-agreed to have meetings every MOND @ 1pm
-agreed to bring in new flyers at next MON meeting. We ask everyone to make
flyers ideas and bring them in.  Then afterwards we will begin posting all
over school.
-agreed to have email list changed to a more secure server since we have
information that the campus progressive list and other left groups in long
beach are being monitored by the  oppresive forces of the state.

New Members/Tables
-we discussed having a table once a month so as to get our message out and
focus more on campus.
-we discussed focusing more on getting new members and keeping the club
alive

Globalization Meeting
-Uduak brought up the idea of having another Globalization meeting this
year.
-Raju discussed Coca-Cola and what that Corporation is doing in South-Asia.
Also, a South-Asian club is being set up. We could work together with them to
educate people on campus about Coca-Cola.  CSULB has a contract with
Coca-Cola. And your actually not supposed to bring 7-up or Pepsi onto
campus!!! what a joke!

-Connie left notes suggesting a Mexico solidarity/Chiapas speaker, free
trade speaker Nov 6-8 available, honorarium 250-500$, Scott Crass has more
info., CHRILA: Access to Higher Educ for (un)documented students and this is
a bill before house/senate- can we help with this campaign?

-Uduak and Jeb added themselves to the list of club officers. Connie and
Nina are also listed as officers.  Jeb is going to get Sherna Gluck's (our
faculty advisor's) signature on this paper either thurs or fri when she is on
campus.

-also there is a possibilty we could work on campus to stop the school from
building another REC center.  This building would sacrifice school funds
which could be used for the library and other educational budgets.  It
should be noted that the library budget is supposedly going to be slashed in
the next school budget.
