Agenda/ Announcements

-Elisa, Blake, & Connie tabled for the club on Wed, 11/19 from 12- 1:30pm as part of International Education & Multicultural Week. We sat along Friendship Walk on upper campus and a handful of interested students signed up for more info. Dr.Gene Ruyle also tabled next to us on behalf of LB Action Peace Network, selling buttons and stickers.

-You can all thank Jaime for FLYERING the campus last week...people have found us because of them...yay.

-Meanwhile, Elisa is working to revamp our website... yay.

-We decided to continue SUNDAY SOLIDARITY STRIKES with supermarket strikers.
This Sunday, 11am---> to whenever
ALBERTSONS on Redondo Ave & 6th St.
We join La Raza, History Students Assoc members, and other community members in support of their strike. Some of us were there last week and will be there again this weekend. This is an important weekend because it is right before Thanksgiving!!! Come to talk to shoppers and get out to meet and greet your community.
Raise issues and awareness about labor, corporate greed, American history, etc. If you live in the immediate LB area, please come out to support!

-We talked about guerilla art...(ahem!)

--The idea was raised that there needs to be more COMMUNICATION with other like-minded groups on campus....mostly cultural groups, etc....
