Campus Progressive Meeting - Notes 01 December 2004, Mike

Attendance: Mike, Anjelica, Catherine, Josh, Connie, Allison, Lamya, Jeb, Sterling, and Uduak.

Discussion:

Co-sponsoring "Precious Stones"
New meeting time: no changes made
"Campus Progressives Week" for next semester.
Possible film series.
Anti-racist workshop
ASI openings for next semester. Uduak may run for ASI President,
discussion of tuition and funding.

Announcements:
"The Revolution Will Not Be Televised"
Showing 12/02/04 at 6:00p.m.

Campus Progressives Week:
A week-long event may be scheduled for February or March. Students
discussed the possibility of showing movies, having teach-ins and
workshops. Suggestions for progressive films are needed.
Each day will focus on a new topic, such as oil, globalization
(hip-hop themed), war, foreign policy in Venezuela and Haiti.

Anti Racist Workshop:
Suggested workshop by Chris Crass, possibly during Campus Progressives Week.

Campus Progressives will be sponsoring Precious Stones. More
information to come.
