Organization Information

Our purpose is:

  1. To improve the political, educational, social and economic status of minority groups.

  2. To eliminate racial prejudice.

  3. To keep the public aware of the adverse effects of racial discrimination.

  4. To take lawful action in order to secure the elimination of racial discrimination consistent with the efforts of the National organization and in conformity with the Articles of Incorporation of the Association, its Constitution and By-Laws and as directed by the National Board of Directors.

  5. To inform students of the problems affecting Blacks and other minority groups.

  6. To advance the economic, educational, social and political status of Blacks and other minority groups and their harmonious cooperation with other people.

  7. To stimulate an appreciation for the Black man's contribution to civilization.

  8. To develop intelligent, militant, effective leadership within the framework set by the policies of University regulations.
