Welcome to Spirit of Humanity , 42nd Annual International Cultural Dinner Show on 4/26 (Sat) at, The Pointe (in the Pyramid at CSULB), from 6pm-9pm.

Students: $20
Faculty/non student: $30
Tickets are sold at the Center for International Education (Brotman Hall 201)

* We offer sponsor tables with preferenced seating.
Prices: Universal : $360
Global : $320
Continental : $280
Sponsor tables will be a great support for the International Student Association
*Dress code : National attire or Formal

Welcome Bowling Party

Welcome you all to Spring '08 International Student Association.

Our first event for the semester is coming up!!

Welcome Bowling Party on 2/15 (Fri) at Bowling alley, 1st floor at University Student Union, from 2pm-5pm.

Free Bowling, Pizza, and beverage!!

BONFIRE

 

ISA last event of the semester!

 

ISA will have a BONFIRE !!

You can enjoy hotdogs and marshmallows baked in bonfires at the beach!!!

 

Location: Bolsa Chica State Beach (it is the beach between Huntington and Sunset/ Seal Beach: located on Pacific Coast Highway between Golden West Street and Warner Avenue.)

Time: Nov. 30th (Friday) start at 2:30pm

 

Cost: $3 per person (ISA will provide hotdogs, marshmallow, chocolate, chips, beverage, etc.)

 

You can buy tickets at the event but you can get a better deal if you purchase the ticket in advance!! (Advance ticket comes with a raffle ticket per person)

 

We have great prizes to give out!!

 

Where can you get the tickets in advance?

**Advance tickets are available at the CIE front desk from this Tue to Friday noon. 

 

** We recommend you to carpool with friends to get there because the closest parking at the Bolsa Chica Beach charges a fee for parking. F lat fee is charged at a day rate of around $10 (don't forget cash). If you need a contact number please call CIE at 562-985-4106, and ask for Woosung's cell number.

 

 

If you need a carpool, please let us know by Thursday at 5:00pm at csulbisa@gmail.com. Please make sure to write your name and phone number on the email.  Our board members are willing to carpool with you guys.

Thanksgiving Potluck

Experience the Cultural perspectives on the American celebration of Thanksgiving and other similar international observance!

*Bring your favorite ethnic dish.

*Wear your favorite ethnic dress.

 

There will be cultural dancing and musical performances.

 

When?   Friday, 11/16/2007

               11:30am – 2:30pm

 

Where?   CSULB Soroptomist House

                (South side of State University Drive, East of FCS building)

 

 

* We will provide beverages, basic refreshments, and Turkeys!!

* It is not required to bring your dish, but it will be great if you do.

* We will have a microwave so that you can reheat your dishes.

All students at CSULB are welcome to join the club. The ISA does not charge membership dues. If you like, join our email list so that we can keep you posted on all of the events we have planned for the year as well as other updates about the club.
