I was born in Watsonville, California to Salvador and Rosa Hernandez. I have an older sister Lupe, and two younger brothers Sal and Rene. I lived in Watsonville, until I graduated from Watsonville High. Then I decided it was time for a change. I chose to attend Cal State Long Beach, because I liked what the school had to offer, and I also liked the fact that it’s culturally diverse. I chose to major in Kinesiology, because I would like to become a Sports Therapist. My dream job would be to work for the Los Angeles Clippers as their personal Therapist. After I graduate, I plan to obtain a teaching credential so that I can teach Physical Education. In my spare time, I enjoy listening to music and collecting CD’s. I also enjoy watching basketball and reading magazines.
I pledged for Lambda Theta Alpha, in the fall of 2000. I chose Lambda Theta Alpha, because I was in search of an organization, which could provide me with the chance to have a support system as well as get involved with community activities. I felt that Lambda Theta Alpha incorporated what I was looking for. It has given me the opportunity to establish friendships, which will last forever, as well as giving me the chance to grow as a person.
