My name is Letty Valencia, I am Mexican-American born and raised in southern California.  I come from a big family where I am the middle child of five children. I enjoy the simple things in life like sleeping in, eating out, traveling, running, and even the butterflies that come with getting a crush.  Some of my major accomplishments have been to graduate from high school, getting into CSULB, being a founder of a Lambda Theta Alpha, Beta Delta chapter, and to graduate from CSULB.  My University experience has truly been a very exiting journey for me.  I pledged in spring of 1998 at the age 18 and Lambda Theta Alpha definitely took over my life very unexpectedly.   I never imagined that I would meet the amount of wonderful people that have crossed my path because of my sorority.  I have definitely grown as an individual faced very difficult times and learned many of life’s lessons.  I can honestly say that I love my sorority and that it holds a very special place in my heart.  I’m not exactly sure of what my future holds for me now but I plan to travel, establish myself career wise, continue with higher education, and most definitely continue to be active within my sorority.
