Hello my name is Edith and I was born and raised in Santa Ana. I was born to two people who I idolize. My father was a migrant farm worker as a child but he taught himself a lot outside of school and he is the smartest man I know. My mother is a very caring, loving, and selfless woman who always puts others before herself. I also have two older siblings who I am close with. Ever since I can remember, it's always been my dream to become an attorney. I came to Cal State Long Beach in the Fall of 2003 to take a step further towards reaching that dream. I chose CSULB because it is one of the most diverse schools in the nation and we can all learn from diversity. Every day that I come to school, I fall in love with the campus a little more.

I chose to join Lambda Theta Alpha because I'm the first one in my family to go to college and my family can't always provide the support that I need because they don't fully understand the college experience. Being a sister of Lambda Theta Alpha, I not only receive support for my educational goals, but I am also a part of a huge but close knit family that stretches across the nation. I also love being an LTA because I draw inspiration and motivation from my sisters.
