The Cultural Greek Council
of Cal State Long Beach, hosted its first soon to be annual philanthropy in November 2003.
This event took place at the Gold Mine Gym on the CSULB campus. "Straight Ballin" was a basketball tournament comprised of
6 teams with each team being made up of one sorority and fraternity from CGC.
Each organization that participated, donated a fee to enter the
tournament.
The money raised from the event was donated to the American
Red Cross.
The Winners were
Sigma Lambda Beta & Lambda Theta Alpha
Undefeated throughout the whole tournament!
