My name is Rosa Madrigal and I go by Rosie. I like to say that I am a simple girl who has big dreams and isn’t afraid to try new things in life. I was born in Ventura, Ca and raised in Oxnard, Ca into a Mexican family. I grew up in an atmosphere where family was always a priority and love was always around. I am a person who is strongly driven, self motivated and optimistic. I consider my mother one of the most important person’s in my life. She is my best friend.

                                One of the best decisions I’ve ever made was to attend a university. This decision has helped me evolve into a much more understanding and educated young woman. In order to further my education and contribute to the Latino community I chose Lambda Theta Alpha. It makes me extremely happy to know that now I am a part of great everlasting sisterhood.
