Major: Graphic Design and Credential

Minor: Marketing

Ethnicity: Ecuadorian

I was born and raised in Guayaquil, Ecuador-in South America. When I was 4 years old, my Father passed away, thus forcing my mother to come to the United States in search for a better life for her children. At the age of 8, I came to California with my older brother, Ruben, and younger brother, Dario. Here, my older sister awaited for us with my mother. Since then, I have always lived in Southern California.

Any time that I can catch a break from school and family and socializing, I LOVE listening to music, spanish one espcially. Whether it be salsa, bachatas, or reggeaton, my CDs, computer, or radio are always playing. Other than that, any type of socializing going on, you can find me there if I'm not hitting the books. Traveling and seeing new sites are my passions that I am very fortunate to be able to do. I can never get tired of New York and Ecuador. But above all, I LOVE AND ENJOY spending time with my enormous family.

I am a Graphic Design major with a credential to teach and minor in Marketing, thus I applied to only one college, California State University, Long Beach! I plan to acquire my M.F.A and open up my own business in the long run. On the side, I also plan to teach high school students, since that was my inspiration for my career.

Of my family, I am the most Latina oriented, and so I decided to join Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. There is nothing like my heritage and culture that I love more and I wanted to keep that alive throughout college. In addtion, I love to encounter various cultures and people who come from similar or different stories as mine. Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. has not shown me various cultures, but also Sisterhood from coast to coast.
