Who are we?
We are Kappa Sigma Fraternity. We consist of community leaders, good students, and most of all, true gentlemen. We are the most wanted men on campus and have been so for the past 3 years.
What do we do?
Kappa Sigma is all about fellowship, leadership, scholarship, and service. We pride ourselves in leading community service projects, in education and excelling in athletics.
How do we do it?
Kappa Sigma consists of the best and brightest gentlemen who abide by the creed, which we have lived by for 600 years. Our pledging program provides ample opportunity to grow while wearing the badge of Kappa Sigma.
Athletics:
Kappa Sigma is a powerhouse fraternity. We actively seek those who have prior experience in sports. Boasting the best players, we normally place in the top two in any given sport, including football, soccer, basketball, and softball.
Academics:
Kappa Sigma's average GPA is not only above the all men's average here at California State University, Long Beach, but also above other on campus organizations. We have study hours in the library twice a week and have brothers who are knowledgeable in almost any major available here at CSULB.
Socials:
Although we are very serious about school and athletics, we know that all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, which is why we have a full social calendar every semester. We have multiple events every week with sororities, fraternities, and other organizations on campus. We have fun every semester, no matter what our schedules our like.
Networking:
Kappa Sigma offers amazing networking capabilities from our alumni to our active brothers. There are hundreds of brothers who can connect you with internships, jobs and careers. Not only this, but the dozens of job opportunities that pop up while being a member of this fraternity is a bonus to anyone looking to make some money on the side while going to school.
Philanthropies:
We have a community service event every semester. In fall, we have our highly acclaimed Kappa Sigma Powderpuff, in which we put sororities against one another in a tournament style bracket. Spring semester, we have our Kappa Sigma Classic, a basketball tournament which has each sorority's best players facing each other while raising money for a good cause.
