ISALB will provide you for airport pick-up from any of these airports, if you send the “Student Arrival Questionnaire” at least one week before you arrival. We will schedule your pick-up, once we receive your arrival form. We will send you the contact information of ISALB board and destination address in Long Beach one week before your departure from India. One of our volunteers will pick you up at the airport. We will let you know the contact information of volunteer before your departure.
In case if you are not picked up from the airport under unavoidable conditions like heavy traffic or accidents, we recommend you to take an airport shuttle van from LAX to Long Beach. You do not need advance reservations and the trip will take approximately 30 to 45 minutes. You can find these shuttle vans in designated ground transportation areas just outside the baggage claim area. Each van will have a sign on it indicating its destination. Make sure your van is going to Long Beach. The cost is approximately $30 - $35. The shuttle will take you to the destination you specify. You may also take a taxi, which will cost much more (aprox $60). Be sure to watch your baggage, money, and important papers carefully after you exit the airplane to ensure that you do not forget your items.
